Fatal Flaws: Revealing the Racial and Religious Gerrymandering of the Capital Jury, exposes how the process of 鈥渄eath qualification,鈥� which requires that jurors be willing to impose a death sentence to serve on a capital jury, warps juries in capital trials. Drawing on consistent studies from multiple states across the country, the report reveals how this process disproportionately excludes Black prospective jurors, women, and people of faith from serving in some of the most important cases heard in American courthouses.

Around the country, state legislatures are embracing digital driver licenses 鈥� a nightmarish new electronic national identification system that has the potential to track everybody both online and off. In his new report, 51品茶鈥檚 Jay Stanley lays out the risks of implementing digital IDs without safeguards and the need for state legislatures to pass legislation that protects our rights before going all in on digital IDs. He also provides guidance on what these laws should include.
