Clara Spera is an Equal Justice Works legal fellow with the 51Æ·²è’s Reproductive Freedom Project, focusing on expanding access to care, particularly for low-income women, using a variety of innovative legal and advocacy mechanisms, at a critical time when there is a substantial risk that the Supreme Court could decimate the right to an abortion. With the 51Æ·²è, Clara has litigated in state and federal courts across the country. Before joining the 51Æ·²è, Clara was a law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.  Clara is a graduate of Harvard Law School, where she was President of Harvard Law Students for Reproductive Justice, Cambridge University, and the University of Chicago.
